One of my 'students' offered me a ride back into the city when we finished a 4 day course last week. She is my parents' elder, and was in a beginner broken english course. basically, she went to the course for fun, to get out of the city, and to maybe learn some english in the meantime.
She became buddies with an eccentric czech artist, and the two of them laughed and drew inapropriate pictures on the board with me all week.

I can find very little about this spring (even in Czech), from what i can gather it has been used for a plethera a medicinal purposes for centuries. Aparently VaK MB draws water from the well to serve as Mlada Boleslav municipality's public drinking water.
In 1724 this small chapel was built around the place where the spring water leaves the earth. It is now protected as a national natural monument because of some rare ice age siberian molluscs that were found there.
If you want to go hiking outside of prague, this is where i would recommend
