dvacátápátého listopadu

usually when i post on the blog i have tried to always post the date/title in the language of the country i am living in.
i decided to do that for a change today...
...now you can see why i don't do it
that says, "the twenty fifth of november"

you can imagine how frustrating it is for me to communicate with locals, read road signs, buy groceries... anything
and, you can imagine how frustrating it is for czechs when they attempt to communicate with my latin-based-languages self. except, they have absolutly no reason to try and be nice and helpful to me. so they aren't.

makes my days fun.

it is like i want to walk around with a poster on my head that says (in czech),

 "life has brought me here, 

i am sorry i don't speak your language,

 wish i did, 

i live here now 

so, please be nice to me"

except, i haven't met one peer pragian that would be willing to help me translate that sentence to czech so i could make the sign.

i know my people are out there somewhere in this city... just need to be patient in finding them...

or, is that being narrow-minded?
