prague, meet thanksgiving

pie filling being foraged in the back, crust in the front
the menu- in order of consumption
(to add some snooty to this article, put the word 'organic' and 'local' before each dish)

spiked apple cider
holland style cured goat and cow's cheeses

betty's salad
sauteed in garlic brussel sprouts
croissant from the bakery down the street
creamed sweet corn
cider-braised pheasant with caramelized onions and apples (hunted, not farm raised, mikel bit the bullet... literally)
mashed potatoes, and sweet gravy from the pheasant and apples

bordeaux

pumpkin pie (from a fucking pumpkin-go matthew!)
coffee
armognac

roasted pumpkin seeds

matthew and i tromped the streets for 2 1/2 days, literally, looking for all the ingredients
(and the leaves that had fallen from trees at the park to decorate the table)

ravenous

digesting
