dejeuner de canard and the CinEspaña film festival

matthew and i found a little spot for lunch with all regional food and wines
we had a plethera of duck, in all it's cooked forms (foies gras, confit, and more)
with Colombell Wine from the Cotes de Gascogne (that o is supposed to have a hat on it, but I don't have a french keyboard)

this was followed by the CinEspaña film festival at the Cinematheque university in Toulouse.
It is interesting, the HUGE Spanish population in Toulouse. As Vasque Country spills over a little tip into France, there is a bit of a mesh of culture between the Pyrenees French and the Vasc Spanish.
The Spanish film festival in France is a perfect modern demonstration of this.

We saw "Seis puntos sobre Emma"
very good, as far as international films go it isn't a 'YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS FILM" like my message was for 'Let the Right One In" at the Sitges horror film fesival a few years ago. But, the main character's dry humor is quite enjoyable thoughout the film.
